Last night’s sleep?
Horrific.
Thing Three was not happy with the Pack n’ Play (aka mesh jail) and I think he was cold, but he was up from 2am until almost 4am. And my back be a hurtin’.
But today, we will have breakfast and head for the indoor pool. I’m guessing that Thing Three will go absolutely batshit at the thought of flopping around in the water. Then it’ll be back here for lunch and naps (Sweet Jesus I hope).
After naptime, we’ll hit the game area and then head for the beach to watch them run hog-ass wild. The water is in no way swimmable or really even wade-able yet, but that makes child management easier.
Tonight? No idea. Haven’t decided what our plans are yet. I know the kids will be tired since they weren’t asleep last night until over two hours after they normally do. And as those of you with kids can attest, exhaustion in kids compounds like interest. Lost sleep is lost forever, and a week packed full of fun takes the sanity out of the toughest of folks.
My fingers are crossed.
