I swear I cannot figure out why I’m not writing lately. Usually this time of year I’m full up with shopping rage and poor holiday spirit and I’m just generally bitchy.
Apparently, I became more pro-Christmas this year. It really is fun with the kids and despite being exhausted, I enjoy all of the socializing, fellowship, eating, drinking and everything else.
But that is still no excuse not to write anything. There are people all over the world who rely solely on me to provide them entertainment. I can think of at least two people that get very angry when my creative juices run dry.
So, with two days left to go in the year, I think back to last New Year and Avitable’s commitment to post every day. I said I would, but I don’t think I got to day four before I was backdating posts.
This year, I’m doing it. I’m sure that with all of the progress and new development on the worldwide information interweb, this will be akin to joining "Hands Across America," but I need to be writing. It’s cathartic for me, sometimes amusing to my friends and it slows down my general dumbening.
So there you go blogosphere. Get ready for 2009: The Year Of The ReTodd.

At your current rate, even a post once a week would be an improvement. I too applaud and fully support your pledge.
