Her’s a 2007 version of the Mexi-mullet.

A shot you’ve seen a thousand times before, but not taken by me.

Marketing at its finest.

Me at Stanford.

And the funny thing is that I don’t want to do it today.
We’ve gone 1,000 miles an hour since the second I left home, and I’m tired. I have a stack of laundry that needs doing, the Brickyard 400 is today at 11am, and I’m going to Oakland for the game tomorrow night.
The weird thing is that I’m feeling a little guilty for NOT wanting to do everything touristy today. My biggest want was seeing Alcatraz, but I didn’t realize the tours were full a week in advance. Next was The Golden Gate Bridge and the fort below (both of which I saw), and then there was Lombard Street (which we made it to), and finally there was the Stanford University campus (done), so the other stuff is all “wouldn’t it be cool if…” stuff. I mean, driving five hours round trip to get my picture taken in front of Pebble Beach is silly. Going to Gilroy for the Garlic Festiveal is silly. Right now, I’d like to eat a breakfast within walking distance of the hotel, then start some laundry, watch the race, maybe catch a dinner in Palo Alto somewhere, and call it a day and get ready for a VERY busy week at work.
Oh, after breakfast I have a few pictures to post that I think you may find amusing.
