I got this idea from a great blog I stumbled across at lunch today. The blog is here and the idea is this:
Simply complete all of the I statements as honestly as you can. Or just complete them (I guess). I didn’t notice any instructions at Lauren’s site. Anyway, here goes…
I am: listening to The Masters over the internet while I’m at work.
I miss: Friends that I don’t see enough, even though we live in the same town.
I want: to own my own successful business.
I have: ridden in a race car at 165 mph.
I loathe: People that race up on your right in a lane that they know is ending, then assume or demand that you’ll let them in line.
I fear: Disappointing my wife.
I play: my Xbox a lot less than I did before the children arrived.
I hear: my mom calling my name toward the end of the song “Every little thing she does is magic” by The Police.
I care: what relative strangers think of me.
I smile: at other people’s kids a lot more than I used to.
I wonder: What my life would have been like if I’d finished college.
I poke: my wife in the ass whenever I follow her up the stairs.
I love: That my daughters have all of their grandparents and that they still have a great-grandparent.
I mess: up anything I try to draw.
I ache: for my friend Lisa and her husband Greg for their horrific loss.
I think: I could be better at my job.
I always: try to put my family first.
I am not: good at closing clothing drawers.
I sing: Anytime I have my iPod on, whether that’s in the car, working out, mowing the lawn, or whatever.
I cry: whenever I watch “Field Of Dreams” and “Rudy.”
I talk: an awful lot.
I spill: cranberry juice every single time I’m pouring it for Lauren.
I wish: I made enough so that my wife didn’t have to work or so that we could have more…
I keep: playing the lottery and actually “knowing” that we’ll win it one day.
I am not always: as patient as I should be.
I can: remember nearly every zip code in the metro Atlanta area.
I can’t: draw or do anything graphically related.
I write: in my blog a lot more than I thought I would.
I win: at yahtzee a LOT.
I lose: my temper in traffic.
I smell: my baby’s head whenever I’m holding her.
I confuse: money and happiness.
I need: to sell 1800 bags of charcoal.
I should: stop holding grudges for so long.
