Yesterday I actually put in writing that one thing I’d like to do is be a writer. I’ve not felt that way for long, and I don’t necessarily know what I’d want to write about all of the time, but I very much enjoy writing and I think I have, on some level, for a long time.
That said, I’ve got nothing. And this is exactly what happened last time I told someone that I wanted to write.
Actually, I got a job offer to go to work covering NASCAR for a big company. I figured “Hey, those are two things I love: writing and NASCAR. It’s my dream job.”
And then I proceeded to have nothing for two weeks.
Nada.
And beyond that, I haven’t really been able to write about NASCAR since.
Someone, anyone, please help me out of this funk by which I am being creatively suffocated.
